In the past four years, I’ve spent some time wandering on a – let’s call it a forum, even sometimes writing posts.

This has led me to acknowledge an extraordinary ability :

I can make people want to read shoujo.

Regular people, who don’t even read manga at all sometimes.
Mind you, I say want to read, I don’t know if they follow up to that. But who cares ? Still an awesome superpower in my opinion.

I hadn’t done it in a while, but, urged by the Great Master of Propaganda (— err, you know who you are and I wouldn’t want to get kicked out), I commited a new crime and treated everyone in sight with my views on Sawako (French title of Kimi ni todoke). I’m currently watching the anime and discovered we’ve already got 5 volumes translated here (where have I been, seriously, I’m ashamed of myself). It’s in French so I’m not publishing it here, so I’ll just link it for the lucky bilinguals who come by. It’s here, along with the other posts I’ve written for this forum.

As for Kimi ni todoke – the anime, let’s just say I enjoy it and I might write a review when the anime’s over, but I’m not inspired enough to write regular posts about this show.

Note : I’m stopping episodic posts but I’ll still talk about this show.

I have to say, I’m quite impressed with New Mao and New Hei. Wow. Mao the flying squirrell and Hei the alcoholic. I guess the CIA does not pay well enough, or it’s somehow Yin’s fault. Les absents ont toujours tort.

Hei finally starts eating at episode 5. He almost had me worried here.

Apparently, Hei still hits redheads though. I know he’s no angel, but Suou does get a hard agent training. Oh, see, I’m not only talking about changes from the first season. Did I mention that Suou becomes a contractor ? Even if she doesn’t turn all emotionless/logical/jerk right away, she does undergo quite a change of behavior. Not as striking as Tanya, but still.

And that things comes out of her, by the way. Okay. She’s becoming quite the interesting female lead…

But there is something you can count on, a rock, an anchor, an everlasting pillar : Kirihara’s obsession with BK-201. Thank you, Misaki.

Let’s first take a walk down Memory Lane…

Poor Misaki. Her heart aches so much. She even gets teased at work. You go, girl ! I still enjoy her stubbornness and dedication.

I hope she won’t get disappointed. They might come in contact soon, after all, thanks to the mysterious Izanami.

After a little bit of soul-searching (don’t I have a blog ? where is it ? since when haven’t I posted something ? am I bored at work right now ? should I find a subject ? hey didn’t I start it in November last year ? anniversary coming soon ?) I realized :

THIS BLOG IS ONE YEAR (and one day) OLD !!! (insert applause, flowers, rainbows, butterflies and dancing hippos.)

I MANAGED TO KEEP IT UP FOR ONE YEAR !!! (sure, if you don’t know me, you won’t realize how amazing this is.)

Unfortunately, I started this thing in order to talk about anime, and my interest in said entertainment dropped dramatically during that time, so I started writing about just anything. Also, I wanted to do episodic blogging, but let’s face it, I can never keep up with it. See, I’m even behind on Darker than Black ! Hopeless. I can’t update regularly, because I don’t have the time (sometimes I do have free time  ! But there’s always something better to do…) and besides, if the prospect of low stats affected me (my stats are always low and anyway, judging by the fact I post my art, you should know I don’t go for Internet celebrity) my posting schedule has no effect whatsoever on my stats (they even go higher when I don’t post ! If I knew how I do that I’d probably make a fortune).

Found your way through all the brackets ? Good for you ! So  now, what ? I mean, I created this mess, so, what should I do with it ? Should I do something with it ?

Hei gets to find Suou first, and mistake her for Shion (as the little weasel intended I’m sure). But realizing his mistake, he runs away (with her) from the MI-6’s magician, the army and the two Japanese contractors. He manages to take down the magician, but the Japanese geeks have new tricks up their sleeves…

and I bet it hurts…

…a lot.
